Burton Copeland Solicitors, in support of PIES, held a quiz night at Manchester City Etihad Stadium and it was attended by around 270 people, mainly from the legal fraternity of Manchester.
Edwina Currie, Patron of PIES, along with Gwyn Lewis, Senior Partner of Burton Copeland were the quiz master and madam and kept the quiz teams entertained with 6 demanding rounds of questions. The night was a success in raising money for the charity through a raffle and silent auction. Many of the 50 plus raffle prizes were donated by attendees and local businesses including vouchers for The Ivy restaurant and Selfridges and tickets to watch Manchester United and Manchester City next season. A number of generous individuals walked away with prizes from the silent auction including 2 nights stay in a 5 star Bangkok hotel, tickets to see Little Mix and a hospitality day for 4 at Manchester City. The night has hopefully raised nearly £7000.
