Swaziland is a small (about the size of Wales) very beautiful impoverished country in Southern Africa and thus has become increasingly politically and financially dependent on her largest neighbour, South Africa.

The kingdom of Swaziland is a former British Colony, it is currently a member of the Commonwealth. The major industries are agriculture, forestry and timber. The mining industry has collapsed and many of the men who were employed in the mines have had to go to Johannesburg to look for work.
